Essential Oil Infused Salad Dressing
Infusing essential oils in beverages, soups, and salad dressing is super easy. You can either choose which oils to infuse based on symptomatic reasoning. A sweet and savory salad dressing can help add flavor and lighten up the taste. This salad dressing only has four ingredients that will be sure to enlighten your taste buds. The tangerine essential oil or fresh squeezed tangerine juice gives this dressing a fresh twist.
Tangerine
Like other citrus essential oils such as lemon, lime, grapefruit, etc., tangerine oil can help support a healthy immune system used internally. It contains powerful antioxidants that can give your immune system a boost. Tangerine contains high levels of the monoterpene limonene are often known for their ability to have stimulating and enhancing effects on mood.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Organic Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Organic Maple Syrup Grade B
- 1/4 cup Organic Chia Seeds
- 10 drops doTERRA Tangerine Essential Oil or 1/2 a a fresh tangerine squeezed
- 1 Wide Mouth Mason Jar
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in mason jar
- Whisk with a fork vigorously until all ingredients are homogenous
- Store in the refrigerator, remove for 5 minutes prior to using on salad and stir!
