FOOD IS FUEL
Nutrition has come so far from the ‘calories in versus calories out’ era. For some food is very simple. For others, it is a very complex relationship of figuring out food intolerances, hormone imbalances, and learning the right macros/micros needed to support their current goals. Whether it is a desire to improve body composition, decrease inflammation, improve food quality, or even just improve energy levels… your fuel aka food will impact that. You can have the best tailored workout regimen but without the correct refuel it is an uphill battle. Nutrition is synergistic in achieving any aesthetic goal as well as feeling your best.
I genuinely love cooking, especially in an unrushed setting. I find that food can be very creative and a love language if I do say so myself. I find a lot of inspiration from other chefs, creatives, and bloggers. Between a vast array of spices and trying to eat in season the smorgasbord of menus I prep for the week doesn’t bore me often!
